Almost 12 years we were together. Since photography class in college, when we still worked on SLR non-digital cameras, you remember, the kind that we loaded with film and processed in dark rooms. 

You were a Christmas present from my father in Michigan, way way way, back in the day.

I tried my hardest to find pictures with you in it dear tripod, but 

alas, that is not an easy task. You were most happy behind the camera, not in front of it. 

(Technically, you were under the camera, to be specific, and you did a most epic job).

We've worked together in Michigan, Montana, Idaho, Tahoe, SoCal, NorCal, Nevada ...

We traveled the nation together on planes, trains and automobiles. You even hitched a flight to Africa and back, to be of service.

We got Media passes, just you and me - people gave us strange looks and asked how we did that with just my iPhone attached, but together we produced content for over 100 episodes of our online talk show ...

We went on Different Adventures to Disney Land, famous silver mining ghost towns, and balloon races.

The Book "The Secret"

Recently, I was reminded about the book, "The Secret"...

...and as I was trying to remember why I have not yet read it (though I hear the British audio version is quite entertaining). I was brought back to a time in my life when I used to create and produce online talk show "Wake Up Tahoe with Dreu Murin" - and, I actually researched and talked about, what else, "The Secret". So, later today, I will be heading to my local library, returning some of the "dating" books I have on loan as I start on my documentary*  about relationships and dating, and turn my attention to the law of attraction. Dreu and Adra are back in the studio today with all kinds of Labor Day weekend stories including Dreu judging both Sample the Sierra and Kiwanis cook offs, an update on the Rim Fire, and cooking day with Adra's secret recipie for juice.

This has got to be my favorite show ever. It's cooking day, there is one of my SILENT films, Dreu Murin and I have loads of fun...it just all worked (and yes, I was a bit more blond and tan).

Wake Up Tahoe was conceived to share the locals’ love of Lake Tahoe’s beautiful South Shore. Hosted by one of our local favorite radio, television, and event hosts, Dreu Murin, Wake Up Tahoe is filmed in front of a live audience weekdays from MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa’s Wedding Chapel, overlooking Edgewood Golf Course (home of the American Century Championship). Beyond the scenery, the show features different themes each day, including Cooking Wednesdays and Mystical Mondays. Don’t be surprised to see Dreu and his guests in costume on occasion (ok, regularly).

As the backbone of the show, Adra Fenstermaker is the producer, writer, reporter, and social media queen. Murin graciously acknowledges that, “without her, the show would have never happened.. see full blog post HERE...

Remote Kontrol MASSV Festival and Freak Alley Interview, Idaho

I had the chance to catch up with Nonstop, iGlide and Chibi from Remote Kontrol (and Dragon House) in Sun Valley, Idaho for MASSV Music Festival and interview the three of them in Boise at the Freak Alley. With my iPhone, I captured their interview with questions submitted by PopNTod, and even got a public service announcement that there in NO SUCH THING AS DUB STEP DANCE! Watch the full video to see iGlide and Chibi dance solo, as well as the crew on stage together dressed in their signature gold followed by a great interview. Remember - there is no such thing as Dub Step Dance, it's Animation.
