"Diamond In The Rough" - tells the story of Richard (Daz Byard) who finds himself homeless after a tragedy rips his family apart and he finds himself living on the streets for many years. Board member of multiple artist associations, Debra White, (Adra Janean) while visiting a homeless shelter, spots a familiar sketch, which leads her to Richard.

As the first and largest black film festival of the year, numerous other film festival reps scout new films from us for their event. Here's a little FACT: When Adra was a freshman in High School, opening night, she was returning from intermission to continue her leading role in "The Night Of January The 16th" - when she tripped over a bench while her hands where handcuffed behind her back. Unable to brace her fall, she blacked out, waking up  in the arms of the school wrestling coach. She suffered a split chin, and finished the second half of the play with an icepack on her face. The audience was told that her character, "Karen Andre" had been in a fight in jail over the night.

MONACO CHARITY FILM FESTIVAL 2015: May 9 to 12

has accepted Tough Love as well as ALL of the Demo Project short films. This is the first time in the history of the MCFF that ONE producer/actor has had SIX films accepted in the same year! Brett Hunt, stars in all six of the films.
